MAPUTO, Jul. 16, 2000 (AMP) — Mali 2002 (Qualifiers) : Mozambique defeated Lesotho on penalties 3-2, after the match ended 1-0 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. Lesotho, who won the first leg (1-0), advance to the next round of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Mozambique is eliminated.
