ADDIS ABABA, Jun. 22, 2003 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : Ethiopia defeated Niger by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Ethiopians second in Group 2 with 9 points. Niger is third with 6 points. In their last game, Ethiopia will meet group leaders Guinea on July 6, while Niger will face Liberia.
