LUSAKA, Jun. 7, 2003 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : Zambia defeated Tanzania by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Zambians top of Group 3 with 10 points. Tanzania is bottom with no points. In their next game, Zambia will meet second-placed Sudan on June 21, while Tanzania will face Benin.
