DAR ES SALAAM, Jun. 22, 2003 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : Benin defeated Tanzania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Beninese second in Group 3 with 10 points. Tanzania is bottom with no points. In their last game, Benin will meet group leaders Zambia on July 6, while Tanzania will face Sudan.
