PRAIA, Oct. 12, 2002 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : Kenya defeated Cape Verde by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Kenyans top of Group 5 with 6 points. Cape Verde is second with 3 points. In their next game, Kenya will meet Mauritania on March 29, while Cape Verde will face Togo.
