ASMARA, Oct. 12, 2002 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Eritrea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Zimbabweans top of Group 6 with 6 points. Eritrea is bottom with no points. In their next game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed the Seychelles on March 30, while Eritrea will face Mali.
