BAMAKO, Jun. 7, 2003 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Eritrea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Malians top of Group 6 with 9 points. Eritrea is bottom with no points. In their next game, Mali will meet second-placed Zimbabwe on June 22, while Eritrea will face the Seychelles.
