KINSHASA, Oct. 13, 2002 (AMP) — Tunisia 2004 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Botswana by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the congolese second in Group 9 with 3 points. Botswana is bottom with one point. In their next game, DR Congo will meet group leaders Swaziland on March 30, while Botswana will face Libya.
