DAKAR, Jun. 5, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Senegalese top of Group 1 with 3 points. In their next game, Senegal will meet Togo on June 20, while Congo-Brazzaville will face Liberia.
