BRAZZAVILLE, Jun. 20, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Liberia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Congolese third in Group 1 with 3 points. Liberia is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet Mali on July 4, while Liberia will face Togo.
