BRAZZAVILLE, Jul. 4, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Mali by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Congolese top of Group 1 with 6 points. Mali is bottom with one point. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet Togo on September 5, while Mali will face Senegal.
