DAKAR, Mar. 26, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Liberia by a big score of 6-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Senegalese top of Group 1 with 13 points. Liberia is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Senegal will meet Congo-Brazzaville on June 5, while Liberia will face Mali.
