CHILILABOMBWE, Mar. 26, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Zambia defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Zambians top of Group 1 with 13 points. Congo-Brazzaville is fourth with 6 points. In their next game, Zambia will meet third-placed Togo on June 5, while Congo-Brazzaville will face Senegal.
