BAMAKO, Mar. 27, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Togo defeated Mali 2-1 after extra time, in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night.
The result put the Togolese second in Group 1 with 13 points. Mali is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Togo will meet third-placed Zambia on June 5, while Mali will face Liberia.
