LOMé, Jun. 5, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Togo defeated Zambia 4-1 after extra time, in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Togolese top of Group 1 with 16 points. Zambia is third with 13 points. In their next game, Togo will meet second-placed Senegal on June 18, while Zambia will face Mali.
