CHILILABOMBWE, Sep. 3, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Zambia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Senegalese top of Group 1 with 18 points. Zambia is third with 16 points. In their last game, Senegal will meet Mali on October 8, while Zambia will face Liberia.
