LOMé, Sep. 4, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Togo defeated Liberia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Togolese top of Group 1 with 20 points. Liberia is bottom with 4 points. In their last game, Togo will meet Congo-Brazzaville on October 8, while Liberia will face Zambia.
