KINSHASA, Jun. 20, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Burkina Faso by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group 2 with 3 points. In their next game, Burkina Faso will meet South Africa on July 3, while DR Congo will face Cape Verde.
