OUAGADOUGOU, Sep. 4, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Burkina Faso defeated Uganda by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Burkinabé top of Group 2 with 6 points. Uganda is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Burkina Faso will meet Cape Verde on October 9, while Uganda will face South Africa.
