KUMASI, Sep. 4, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Ghana defeated Uganda by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Ghanaians top of Group 2 with 18 points. Uganda is bottom with 7 points. In their last game, Ghana will meet Cape Verde on October 8, while Uganda will face Burkina Faso.
