KHARTOUM, Jun. 6, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Egypt defeated Sudan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night.
The result put the Egyptians top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet second-placed Ivory Coast on June 20, while Sudan will face Benin.
