COTONOU, Jun. 20, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Benin tied 1-1 with Sudan (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Beninese fourth in Group 3 with one point. Sudan is bottom with one point. In their next game, Benin will meet second-placed Egypt on July 4, while Sudan will face Libya.
