CAIRO, Sep. 5, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Egypt defeated Cameroon by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night.

The result put the Egyptians second in Group 3 with 7 points. Cameroon is third with 7 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet Libya on October 8, while Cameroon will face Sudan.
