YAOUNDé, Mar. 27, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated Sudan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Cameroonians second in Group 3 with 11 points. Sudan is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Cameroon will meet Benin on June 4, while Sudan will face Egypt.
