CAIRO, Mar. 27, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Egypt defeated Libya by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night.
The result put the Egyptians third in Group 3 with 10 points. Libya is fourth with 10 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet Sudan on June 5, while Libya will face Ivory Coast.
