COTONOU, Jun. 4, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated Benin by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Cameroonians second in Group 3 with 14 points. Benin is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Cameroon will meet third-placed Libya on June 19, while Benin will face Sudan.
