CAIRO, Jun. 5, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Egypt defeated Sudan by a big score of 6-1 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night.
The result put the Egyptians third in Group 3 with 13 points. Sudan is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet group leaders Ivory Coast on June 19, while Sudan will face Benin.
