ABUJA, Jun. 5, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Rwanda by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Nigerians top of Group 4 with 3 points. In their next game, Nigeria will meet third-placed Angola on June 20, while Rwanda will face Gabon.
