KIGALI, Jun. 19, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Rwanda defeated Gabon by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Rwandans second in Group 4 with 3 points. Gabon is bottom with one point. In their next game, Rwanda will meet Zimbabwe on July 3, while Gabon will face Angola.
