LUANDA, Sep. 5, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Rwanda by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Angolans second in Group 4 with 8 points. Rwanda is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Angola will meet third-placed Zimbabwe on October 10, while Rwanda will face Algeria.
