HARARE, Sep. 5, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Nigerians top of Group 4 with 9 points. Zimbabwe is third with 5 points. In their next game, Nigeria will meet Gabon on October 9, while Zimbabwe will face Angola.
