LUANDA, Oct. 10, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Angolans top of Group 4 with 11 points. Zimbabwe is fourth with 5 points. In their next game, Angola will meet Zimbabwe on March 27, while Zimbabwe will face Angola.
