PORT HARCOURT, Mar. 26, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Gabon by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Nigerians top of Group 4 with 13 points. Gabon is third with 6 points. In their next game, Nigeria will meet Rwanda on June 5, while Gabon will face Zimbabwe.
