HARARE, Jun. 5, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Gabon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Zimbabweans second in Group 4 with 11 points. Gabon is fourth with 6 points. In their next game, Zimbabwe will meet Algeria on June 19, while Gabon will face Rwanda.
