LIBREVILLE, Jun. 18, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Gabon defeated Rwanda by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Gabonese fourth in Group 4 with 9 points. Rwanda is bottom with 5 points. In their next game, Gabon will meet second-placed Angola on September 4, while Rwanda will face Zimbabwe.
