LUANDA, Sep. 4, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Gabon by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Angolans top of Group 4 with 18 points. Gabon is fourth with 9 points. In their last game, Angola will meet Rwanda on October 8, while Gabon will face Algeria.
