HARARE, Sep. 4, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Rwanda by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Zimbabweans third in Group 4 with 15 points. Rwanda is bottom with 5 points. In their last game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed Nigeria on October 8, while Rwanda will face Angola.
