NAIROBI, Sep. 4, 2004 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Kenya defeated Malawi by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Kenyans fourth in Group 5 with 3 points. Malawi is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Kenya will meet Botswana on October 9, while Malawi will face Tunisia.
