NAIROBI, Mar. 26, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Kenya defeated Botswana by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Kenyans second in Group 5 with 9 points. Botswana is fourth with 6 points. In their next game, Kenya will meet third-placed Guinea on June 5, while Botswana will face Tunisia.
