RABAT, Jun. 4, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Malawi by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Moroccans top of Group 5 with 15 points. Malawi is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Morocco will meet third-placed Kenya on June 18, while Malawi will face Botswana.
