RABAT, Sep. 3, 2005 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Botswana by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Moroccans second in Group 5 with 19 points. Botswana is 5th with 9 points. In their last game, Morocco will meet group leaders Tunisia on October 8, while Botswana will face Guinea.
