TRIPOLI, Jun. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Ethiopia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Libyans second in Group 10 with 7 points. Ethiopia is bottom with 6 points. In their last game, Libya will meet group leaders DR Congo on September 8, while Ethiopia will face Namibia.
