BRAZZAVILLE, Oct. 8, 2006 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Chad by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Congolese top of Group 11 with 4 points. Chad is bottom with no points. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet third-placed Zambia on March 25, while Chad will face South Africa.
