DURBAN, Jun. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : South Africa defeated Chad by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the South Africans top of Group 11 with 10 points. Chad is bottom with no points. In their next game, South Africa will meet third-placed Congo-Brazzaville on June 17, while Chad will face Zambia.
