NOUAKCHOTT, Sep. 2, 2006 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Mauritania defeated Botswana by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Mauritanians top of Group 2 with 3 points. In their next game, Mauritania will meet third-placed Burundi on October 8, while Botswana will face Egypt.
