NOUAKCHOTT, Jun. 3, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Mauritania tied 1-1 with Egypt (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Egyptians top of Group 2 with 8 points. Mauritania is third with 4 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet second-placed Burundi on September 9, while Mauritania will face Botswana.
