KAMPALA, Sep. 2, 2006 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Lesotho by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Ugandans top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, Uganda will meet third-placed Niger on October 8, while Lesotho will face Nigeria.
