MASERU, Mar. 25, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Lesotho defeated Niger by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Basotho third in Group 3 with 3 points. Niger is bottom with one point. In their next game, Lesotho will meet Niger on June 3, while Niger will face Lesotho.
