KAMPALA, Jun. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Nigeria by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Nigerians top of Group 3 with 9 points. Uganda is second with 7 points. In their next game, Nigeria will meet Niger on June 17, while Uganda will face Lesotho.
