NIAMEY, Jun. 3, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Niger defeated Lesotho by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Nigeriens third in Group 3 with 4 points. Lesotho is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Niger will meet group leaders Nigeria on June 17, while Lesotho will face Uganda.
